Mission Statement

Provide information, support and activities to suit the needs of adults aged between 18 and 45 who have, or are going through, the various issues involved with chronic health conditions.

Listen to our members.

No one should suffer in silence or feel isolated.

Help our members feel at ease to talk about their concerns.

Provide a comfortable and informal environment that is surrounded by people who can truly empathise with some of the issues being raised.

Help our members to help themselves by providing information and support.

Click HERE to enter our CWTCH chat room on Facebook.

This is a closed group so you can chat to other members without anyone outside the group being able to see what is being written.

WE

UNDERSTAND

THAT LIVING

WITH A

CHRONIC

ILLNESS CAN

  • Have an impact on your life and your family’s.
  • Create fear and uncertainties at any stage of the diagnostic process
  • Be a life-changing experience.
  • Be difficult for other people to accept and understand.

 Welcome to our Campaign

“Walk In My Shoes” is a campaign devised by member of CWTCH (Pembrokeshire) to inform people about chronic health conditions and symptoms you can’t always see.

Our members have reported to us that in order to fit in with friends, family and society in general, they most often try and hide their pain so that it isn’t visible to everyone. They do this because it is a way of coping.

THE CWTCH A-TEAM
CWTCH-Pembrokeshire is managed by a combination of trustees and volunteers, who the majority have a chronic health condition, so they understand the needs of our members. Without our volunteers we wouldn’t be able to offer our members any of the services we currently provide. To see more about our team and put names to faces, please choose the our team from the drop down menu.

Do you want to volunteer with us ???

As a volunteer, you will be working with the CWTCH trustees to help run the support group, meet and support adults with a chronic health condition and also give us your ideas for activities and fundraising. Volunteers are really important to us and we could not run CWTCH without them!

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact us at: [email protected]
